Probably Cali legal ARs that you have to break open to load, and the shotty is legal so long as it doesnt have both a folding/telescoping stock and a pistol grip, one or the other is fine.

    Buy your off-list receiver yet?

BTW does anyone know if the Saiga .410 is CA legal? I know the 12 guage isnt since it has the magazine and is obivously a shotgun, but could the 410 be considered a rifle?

no. A shotgun is a shotgun. As for the .410, it is still illegal AFAIK. but folding stock + pistol grip is legal IIRC.

A big plus one for CGN though, Im PanzerAce over there as well.

chances are the ARs are pre-ban, or they have found some way around the legislation.

Theres no way around the legislation. Either its legal or not legal. Most people with post-ban ARs simply fix the magazine so it is not detachable without the use of a tool. No detachable magazine = legal with a pistol grip.

But I was at a gun show today and saw a Bushmaster with a FIXED INTERNAL magazine. :mamoru: Yea, those are hot sellers.

I order my AR lower on Monday :x:

lol, the funny thing about the Cali bushmaster is that it came out like a month before this off list stuff hit, so they havent sold NEARLY as much as they could have :p

Folding stock and pistol grip on shotguns in CA is fine. Alot of them are sold that way to begin with.

they will find a way. they seem to not care about the constitution anyways, why would this be any different? It will be interesting to see what happens though.

wrong, the LEGISLATURE doesnt give a rats ass about the constitution. But we are not dealing with them, we are dealing with the DOJ. However much some people inside the DOJ want to screw us over, they are still constrained in what they can do.

the thing is that they cannot take away anything or charge you with something that was legal before the law was changed. If that happened, when they changed the drinking age to 21 a lot of people would be in trouble.

Im not all up on the CA stuff, but I see no reason why CA must allow people to build these into assault weapons. The period to register assault weapons is over.

I'm not sure if it's even constitutional for them to do so. Ammendment 14 says that the state cannot take away any right granted to it's citizens by the US gov't. If the US gov't allows assault weapons, I don't see how it is consitutional for them to not allow them. That's sorta reaching but by the wording of it the laws banning these weapons and .50s doesn't seem constitutional. I don't think anybody has tried to fight it though; or everybody has given up hope for the commie bastards in Kali.
