I've kept the 6g in the frenum for about 3 weeks now, and i'm getting restless. luckly I have a horseshoe (CBB) in, so wht do i decide to do? I decide to put a 2nd 6g CBB inside the hoop and let it hang there, a lil extra weight never hurt anyone right?

I remember the feeling of tightness from when I had first put the 6g in, I believe i might have a minor tear nothin too bar just soarness when the ring moves.

what do I do to best combat this?

I've been doin a non-iodized sea salt soak once a day, cleaning with Dial in the shower (2x a day) and occasionaly spraying & rotating with H2Ocean. anythign else i can do?

Thats too much stuff. Choose one healing method and stick with it.

Its not that it won't heal, it'll just prolong healing. Constant messing around with piercings causes irritation.

man and i really thought that you were supposed to do the anti bacterial soap thing like 2 or 3 times a day.

or is that if you do not do the soak?

    OH YEAH!

do you soak with the ring in or out?

and i'm guessing don't more the ring around to much?

also when i do more the ring sometimes i have stuff on it like if the piercing was fresh, shouldn't i be removing that? but to do that i gotta more the ring, which as you said causes irritation. so what am i to do?

also, i put that i clean it so much because i work out typically 2 times a day, so i clean after work outs as i figure i should. right?

do sea salt soaks once a day, no matter if you work out 10times a day. do not take your jewelry out. leave it in. no need to move the ring, you dont need to move the ring to clean it during the healing process. after its healed its a good idea to remove the jewelry once every few weeks to remove any urine residue that builds up on the jewelry.
