I've always adopted a blazer w/ jeans look as far back as I can remember. I studied french in highschool and admired european fashion. And now I see every dude at the trendy clubs & bars wearing a suit jacket w/ jeans. Its seriously like they are all clones.

Things I notice about how yuppie males dress in dallas:
    1) They all carry the bed head hair style.
    2) A lot of them wear cufflinks. IMHO thats a little to0 formal when doing jeans and blazer look.
    3) looks as if they wear suit jackets and not blazers paired w/ their jeans
    4) THe suit jackets they wear are often too long (length of jacket goes pass their finger tips).
    5) The suit jacket is not relax but a boxy structured cut.
    6) Most tuck in their shirt. I think they want to look more formal rather than relax.

So yea i'm just ranting. They maybe on the jacket bandwagon but at least they dont understand the nuances of doing it right. lol

im sure you do something everyday that someone else claims they "started" trends will always exist.

I completely feel your pain on this.
Dallas people have nice clothes buy they simply do not know how to shop for them.
I myself have trouble finding clothes since my weight changes so much :(
    I went from a 32/32
to a 31/32 back up to 32 and now im at a 30/32 at best (possibly 29/32) due to diet restrictions.
But my lack of fitting clothes is no excuse for the fact that Dallas folks have trouble pulling off a classic, simple look without appearing as if they are trying too hard.

I get so frustrated. I literally walk around the mall wanting to tell people what to do to fix their look.

I think Dallas sucks when it comes to providing fa variety of fashion. It can't compare anywhere near to NYC. For example I was in Vegas earlier this month and their Sax Fith has so many more different designers.

Idea for a new reality show. Texas Fashion Ranger! Did u go to any of the queer eye events when they were in dallas?
