    2006 Hyundai Tiburon SE V6

I know how much you guys hate Hyundai since you all think you are so bad ass with your Jettas and shitty Audis, but I will post this anyways.

Anyways, I have owned the car for about 2 and a half to 3 months. So far I have enjoyed it but here are the things I don't exactly like about it.

Cheesy ass interior. What bugs me most is the door handle on the inside. makes squeaky noises just touching it.

awkward sized shift knob. Damn thing feels like a baseball. I can replace it but still its annoying.

Sometimes putting the car in reverse makes a loud grind sound.

The clutch is too "soft" for my liking. I guess thats the best way to explain it. the clutch just feels like a toy to me. Shifting feels a little clunky too.

What I do like about the car is how well it picks up and how well it handles. The car picks up much much better than my RSX-S. And the car handles like a friggin champ. THe car is very sleek looking. Burnt orange. 6spd manual blah blah blah.

So far I really like the car. I can't expect much considering the car is about 21k brand new. I got it for much less mind you. I got the car with about 13,000 miles and I already put 5k on it. Yeah, I drive a lot. it also came with a decent factory system, all kenwood. better than those shitty bose systems.

I don't have any pics but mine is exactly like this one. Interior is the same except mine has a 6spd manual, better radio, etc.

i know what you mean about the soft clutch, its disconcerting and seems hard to predict

my rav4 went from a super stiff pedal that slipped like a bitch to a super super soft pedal that grabs hard as fuck

:werd: The clutch in the rsx and the tibby feel soooo different. I much prefer the clutch in the rsx.

Those are nice cars for the class, great styling, my only hangups are that the V6 doesn't seems pretty weak on paper for a V6, and the gas mileage is atrocious from what I read considering what kind of car it is.

What cracks me up is the fact that the Tiburon's V6 produces 172 hp and (of course) gets shitty gas mileage. What's the point? You can get a 4-banger from other car makers that produces more power while getting better gas mileage. Plus, you won't be driving a Hyundai.

the next tiburon which should be out next year is going to be V6, RWD, and 300 HP. i think it looks ugly as fuck though, they should of just kept the current design and improved some stuff

Surprisingly the car picks up fairly well. Gas mileage is decent though. Normally I don't drive aggressive but yeah the gas mileage isnt that great. It is better than my RSX though.

Just looked it up, 16 mpg city is pretty sad for a small V6 car that puts out well under >200 horsepower
