    i'd take an acog any day over both of them. and an aimpoint any day over an eotech.

    just boils down to personal preference. that's what i prefer.

    SWFA heads up production now though I have no idea where they're being produced.

    yeah I know SWFA basically controls the sales of it.. but I thought it was still being made by the same manufacturer..

    Ok actually I think they're still produced under the Tasco name but by Bushnell since Bushnell bought out Tasco. As quoted from Chris at SWFA:

    "Originally the scopes were marketed by tasco sports optics to the U.S. Navy. Tasco never offered these for sale to the public and has since been bought out by Bushnell Performance Optics, Inc. SWFA, Inc. now has the exclusive world wide rights to the Super Sniper scopes and the Super Sniper name."


    He also goes into all of the improvements that have been made to them since Tasco was bought out in this thread.

    They're made in Japan btw
