I know its grainy, but beside that fact, what do you guys think?
Reminds me of Chronicles of Narnia
Could throw some saturation on the eyes, make it that artistic look.
that is so noob
not if its done right.
thats pretty badass.
is too, i'm not the kind to edit a picture like that.
wish my kittah would sit still long enough for a shot like that she hates the camera
One of my dogs is gun shy and associates guns and cameras because i take both when we go up to the cabin. He just starts shaking and hides in my office when i take out my camera
because editing photos is for noobs, right? Not like what happened in chemical darkrooms, I mean those were always STRAIGHT from the camera...
I hate people with that perception.
However, i'll ignore that and give you some good c+c -
The lack of seperation around the cats ear and the background bother me a little. The fack that he blends in makes the image look a little flat.
Theres also something weird going on in the image. It almost looks really noisy/crispy in places it shouldn't. Like around the cats eye-duct, the cats nose, and the background top/center left. Not sure why. I'd say it was something going on in your post work, but this is obviously straight from your camera.....
Speaking of sharpening, the cats eye could be a little sharper, and a little less black. Some of the detail gets lost a little.
But overall, I love the shot! It does have a sort of Narnia thing going on, and animal portraits are one of my favorite subjects!
I like this pic and i don't mind the grain, but i'd like it a lot better if the kittah's ear was in focus
I agree. I would've shot with less DOF so his nose and ear were in focus.
fantastic shot though.
I like the image too, but the above is what I think could use some help.
My cat could beat up your cat!
Here she is tryign to break the bonds of oppresion.
That is a cute picture.
I like it, all the problems with it have already been covered, however I agree that respectfully post processing the eye a stronger blue would make for a much more interesting image... And you know me and ridiculous post processing.
would hit it
