Snoring is kind of health-related, right?

I wasn't really sure where to post this but this forum seems the most appropriate.

My girlfriend snores when she's laying on her back. It's fucking annoying. What are some good snoring-prevention devices, if any? I've never used any and they seem to cost about $10 so I was wondering if there were any opinions on them before I try. Thanks.

    :roflw:

They deny the fact they snore too. At least the ones I've met. Gonna have to get the digital camera out next time and record them snoring to prove to her.

if she snores and wakes herself up and can be a sign of sleep apnia, which can be fatal. Is she overweight? The majority of top level heavyweights and SHW all wear CPAP devices because of it.

My girl thinks she's overweight at 110 lbs. :run: That's another issue.

I did that once... woke up because of the sound of my snoring.

if you think you have it you should get it checked out..iirc you are a very big guy ...and sleep apnea can really affect you in a negative way. lots of nfl lineman have sleep apnea and i believe there was a study done which attributed the many penalties that lineman get to sleep apnea (exhausted all the time, lack of concentration, etc.)

 I've put one of those on at the hospital before. When you take a breath, it feels like you are sticking your head out of a car window at 90mph  That shit fills you up.

BiPap machines give an even more incredible sense of breathing in at 11ty mph.

When did you start getting it? Did you have it your whole life or was it when you started powerlifting/bodybuilding? I mean, did you have sleep apnea when you were a bodybuilder and in fantastic shape? I thought only obese/overweight people had sleep apnea because of the extra fat near their throat/neck? just curious
