Seems I got the green light to wear whatever the hell I want for shoes (to work) but I must continue wearing business casual outfits. So I'm looking for recommendations that goes with Khakis + polo or Black pants + polo for work. I look decent with white tennis shoes or chucks with khakis but NOT with my black pants. I'm sure black dress pants would look better with black leather shoes, but they generally aren't very comfortable shoes (compared to sneakers). Would black Chucks hi top or something work? :dunno: Was considering Sperrys boat shoes too but I think boat shoes look better with khakis than black dress pants

I agree, black biz slacks are hard to match with sneakers without looking like a 15-yr-old prep school student.

Stay away from boat shoes too. ANd honestly, I can't even imagine desert boots with them...

In fact, just stick with dress shoes. Casual shoes + slacks just screams out junior high to me. Unless you're walking around a lot.

I am no fashion guy but even I know this is not a good idea. Black slacks require dress shoes. There are casual/comfy dress shoes. Don't be that guy.
