smoking and lifting issues

    how bad is it to occasionally smoke marijuana the night you lift? lets say you lift around 6-7:30 pm, eat dinner, blah blah, then smoke after 9pm. not everyday, just a few nights a week. what effect will this have?

    the only thing ive ever noticed was that its harder to breath during workouts, obviously from the actual smoke.

    why do u hate these threads?

    Here is the thing. You can really hurt your self if you not carefull. Being stoned and lifting weight is not a good combo. IMHO

    Smoking after you lift isn't really going to have any long term negative effect I can think of. It's a good way to relax and if you have trouble bulking it will help.

    either you are going to go after your goals all the way, or just spin your wheels (fwd burn-outs are pointless).

    I smoke too though. I smoke like half a pack one night, then feel guilty for like a week. Atleast since I've cut back drinking to one or two nights per week, I'm not really tempted to smoke as much.

    I used to smoke pot and work out in high school...Then I grew up, sort of.

    Smoking a joint a couple nights a week isn't going to hurt your gains.

    Rumours. There is a recent study or two out there that have shown it has no impact on test.

    The only real negative of smoking pot (well anything), is that its bad for your lung capacity. Well, and the munchies suck if you’re cutting.
