most of the aviators i try on are huge on my head... are there any nice smaller ones out there? i see ray ban has different sizes, like 58mm, 55mm & as low as 52mm....im thinking the 55 or 52 may work?

    any other suggestions?

Most sunglasses brands have aviators so it honestly shouldn't be too hard to find one for your particular head. Mind you, aviators are kinda meant to cover more of your face than some other sunglass types, like wayfarers for example.

Common brands I've seen nice aviators for:
    Oliver Peoples
    Mosley Tribes
    Ray Ban
    Maui Jim
    D&G

I'd suggest just going to various sunglass websites, like sunglasshut.com, and selecting the "style" feature and then clicking on the "aviators"....you'll sorta be able to tell which aviators are "smaller" than the others based on your perception.

I had the same problem because I have a small face. I just tried on every pair of aviators at venice beach and ended up with a cool cheapie pair.

I lose sunglasses like crazy so I buy cheap.

i found a pair i like in the Ray Ban version....

Sunglass Hut ONLY has 58 mm, which was too big...

52mm is their small & 55 mm is considered medium. i tried on a pair of Ralph Lauren 52mm at Lens Crafters & they seemed a bit small, so assuming Ray Ban measure the same way, I'm thinking the 55mm would fit perfectly? i'm ordering online, so it's kind of a gamble.
