A&P Slow shutter speed v crowded area

    I tried to make everyone have blurry faces so your eyes automatically draw straight at the model. But she wouldn't stand still. Tell me what you think. So so do you like my watermark? what should i do to make it not look so noob like.

    I had a go at this once for some stupid student work.. it wasnt very busy at the time and was kinda hard to get a good one :wtc:

    TapoutTonster, in your case, the easiest way for you to pull that shot off would have been to freeze the model with a flash... preferably off camera. Asking someone to stand still for 10 seconds, is a bit excessive..... mobbarley's worked better because A)I imagine it had a much shorter shutter speed, and B) his still "model" is sitting against a wall.

    I had better light too maybe, i think mine were about 1/3rd second. Could have looked better if they had been a tad longer I think.

    you had a good idea, but it was poorly executed. keep trying with different setups and maybe try having the model sitting down with people moving around so she can stay still. or even use a very focused flash to freeze only her
