Bad idea to make my own? I could just grab a pallet from work and throw together a makeshift one. If I buy one it'd probably be ~$230 at EliteFTS but being the cheapskate that I am I feel inclined to at least toy with the idea of making my own.... Any of you tried this? What were your experiences?

I've read online that pallets and tires work fine but never actually seen anybody credible use non-legit sleds in videos.

word international shipping is a bitch. Anyway mine is ordered so you might be wise to hold off a few weeks until I give a review. Better safe than sorry.

fuck paying for a sled - go to a junk yard or something and get the biggest tire you can find. Shit will make you vomit with the quickness. If you want to get fancy pick up a wide tow strap/loop and a caribiner.
