Skull crushers and elbow pain

    My elbows hurt real freakin bad when I do skull crushers. Is this a bad thing?? :noes:

    I remember when I first started doing skullcrushers, I had that pain as well. Went away with time.

    EZ bar might help to.

    don't lock out. do them upright instead, e.g. french press/curl. allow the weight to stretch out to your maximal range on the eccentric, then extend maybe 1/2 way up or 60% of the way, then drop back down.

    choose other exercises that don't hurt

    My tri work is just like floor presses, pushdowns, and board presses. Skullcrushers or extensions of any kind just wreck my elbows

    skulls hurt my elbows pretty bad too, i kind of ignore it since it gets better the 3rd or 4th rep in

    Yeah I used to think heavy skullcrushers were pretty cool until I fucked my elbow up doing them.

    lower the weight.


    try db kickbacks for tricep workout ;)

    i do lying tri extensions with db's.
