got a leg sleeve (sock?) started by yutaro sakai at the skull and sword in san francisco this past saturday. only 2 pics of the actual tattoo, but i thought some of you might like to see the shop as well, so they're all in here (i suck @ the internet and am too lazy to figure out how to imbed pics). the session was four hours long, i'll be returning in november to continue

always like to see good quality tattoo work.
the tattoo itself it unique but still has some of the core fundamentals.

    good work ! :bigthumb:

That's one of the sickest shops in the country without a doubt. Who all was working when you were there?

DaFreak has a sleeve done my Yutaro, I believe. It's probably one of the nicest Japanese traditional sleeves I've seen.

    thanks guys

yutaro (obviously), grime, and lango were all working. i didnt get a chance to see lango's stuff in person, but a couple of people with grime's work were filtering in and out, in addition to him actually working on a dude while yutaro was working on me. amazingly, i think grime's tattoos actually look better in person than in photographs (that is to say, fucking sick), i usually find the opposite to be the case.

it's gonna wrap around, other side will have boar, more scenery (hare and boar are my parent's astrological symbols). i'm honestly not really setting anything atm, letting yutaro kinda run wtih it

from what i could tell he seemed like a really nice guy. didn't seem to have any crazy ego or something despite being famous as hell, joked around a lot etc etc
