Well Fugitive Task Force is at it again with their misinformation of weapons stats. This week they had a standoff with a fugitive who had an SKS. He was on the second floor on the balcony, and was suppressing 5 officers in the adjoining apt. unit. The narrator and other officers state that bringing a pistol to a rifle fight is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. This it where the truth ends and the BS begins... The next thing out of the guys mouth was "accuracy is really only dependent on the length of the barrel." They go on to state that "the Glock 22 which is a common police sidearm has a barrel length of only 4.2 inches and is accurate out to 75 yards (?) and that the high powered evil brown assault rifle SKS has a barrel length of 20 inches and is accurate out to 433 yards." It is undoubtedly true that rifles are always better than pistols, but this is blowing shit out of proportion. Where do they come up with this shit?
