There's a buyer who's all over my SP2022 that I'm trying to sell face-to-face in my local area (Austin). First he wanted me to drive ~1.5 hours to meet him. I said no. Then he wanted to come down this week and buy it in person, but I told him I'm completely booked that day (working a 24hour shift). So he then said he would come up to my work and buy it from me in my work parking lot. I said no, my (government) employer has a zero-tolerance policy and A.) It'd look really bad...B.) I'd get fired. So then he offered to send me a money order to hang onto it so he can pick it up at a later date. Before I could respond he asked me if I could meet him in Temple (about an hour from here), I said it was too far! I specifically mentioned in the ad I wanted to sell it in the Austin area. Not an hour away. So now he wants me to pick a place in the next county away...that'd be about a 30 minute drive. I'm selling it for $380. It retails for $439. Dude is all over it like a lotto ticket. Sound fishy? I'm a little perturbed, thinking he might not be legal. What does OT think?
