I've been noticing at the skeet range that some guys have guns with interchangeable barrels. They'll shoot 20 ga, 28 ga, and .410 all with the same gun, just changing out the barrels. It looks a lot less space consuming than having 3 or four guns in your trunk.

Is there a name for a gun like that (other than expensive)?

Any particular manufacturers that make them better than others?

Cheapest way to do it would be to buy a 12 ga O/U and then get it fitted with tubes for the other gauges you want to shoot.

Unfortunately, those are single barrel. Makes it tough to shoot doubles in a skeet round.

with an O/U you can buy sleeves or some other adapter to shoot smaller rounds like skeletor said or go the expensive route and get a matched set.

Sounds like I'm going shopping for a matched set.

Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (SAMSUNG-SGH-I607/I607FG1 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; Smartphone; 320x240))

I saw a nice set at Cabela's in Buda, Tx reasonably priced at $15k.

I've got a ruger red label. It's a 20 ga, and has sleeves for 28 ga. and .410. They make them in 12's, with sleeves for each, and although they are somewhat expensive, I think they're worth the money. Skeet shooting with .410 > *

.410 makes skeet more challenging, if you need it.
