sister's ibook won't shutdown.

    she is having trouble shuting down her computer, along with a lot of other problems she doesn't even remember. the only way for her to shut down/reboot is to press cmd-option-powerbutton. none of the shutdown dialogs in the apple menu work. we tried a PMU reset, but that didn't work. we are thinking of a clean install, but want to try the easy fix first.

    go to versiontracker and downlaod OnyX. run all the cleaning & maintainace parts there are

    this should work

    if not, try 'sudo shutdown -h now' in the terminal

    just enter these numbers every 108 minutes: 4 8 15 16 23 42

    and yo should be fine!

    (oh btw, if you dont enter them the world will esplode)
