Single sets for saving time

    What do you think of this? I know it says similar results so not very conclusive but still.

    they're talking about strength and endurance, but people training 8-12 reps are going more for hypertrophy right? in which case doing multiple sets is beneficial.

    Let me start by saying; one should never listen to anything posted on CNN.
    Let me end by saying; Strength training is not for good "health". We go into the gym, destroy our bodies, rest/eat ourselves back stronger than before. Can we afford to save time? I'm in the gym for exactly as long as it takes me to get it done.

    that's similar to mike mentzer's super high intensity training, works for some people
