Anyone have any experience using them? I was thinking of picking up an ND Grad 3-stop, but still reading around before I buy. Was also thinking of a 3-stop reverse ND Grad as well.

I've checked out some of the shots taken with some of their ND Grads and Vari-ND filters on Flickr and I'm so tempted to just buy already. :o

Also wondering if anyone that's used them has found the soft or hard grad more useful for their shooting.

I use soft ND grads all the time in my video work. I don't shoot that much exteriors yet with my still gear but I have a soft grad along with a CP filter in my bag.

what do you guys do with filters these days?

Do you cokin it? Or buy a filter that fits your biggest lens and step down ring it?

I'm really not a big filter guy anymore. Not sure I wanna get back into it.

But I had a nice cokin setup once upon a time...

Two of my lenses use 77mm filters so that's what I bought. If I have to use one of them on my smaller lens, I hand hold it. Not the best solution but it works.

On my video cameras we use matte boxes to hold the filters.
