Seriously, I went looking for one today and I couldnt find one for less than 560 dollars. Glock 17 and Glock 19's were what I was looking for. Since when are they so expensive? I remember them being 450 dollars at the gun show brand new like last year.

But I found several XD's for 480 brand new and as low as 400 used. I couldnt find a single used glock. WTF.

Probably not. I love the 226 blackwater edition but other than that they are over priced for the features you get.

I mean seriously your spending 7-800 dollars on a handgun is there any logical reason for it not haveing a skeleton hammer?

i go to the range everyweek to shoot almost and I have yet to see 1 glock there. I just dont think they are a popular weapon around here.

Most local shops around here want $520-$560 for a 19... so that price doesn't seem out of line. You can find them online a lot cheaper, but by the time you figure in shipping and FFL transfer fees you'll be right back to pushing $500.

If they're asking more than $525 for a basic 26/19/17 size model, they're pricing way too high.

Around here most of the guys will just say "then order it online". They figure if they're not gonna make $150 or more off it, they'd rather just take the $20 for the transfer and wait for the next sucker to come along I guess. :dunno:

The 17/19/26/23/22 are around $489 here. Only the .45acp and 10mm models are over $500, unless they have night sites or something.

Shop I looked at today wanted 560 + tax for a 23. I did handle a sig 229 there too and damn there nice:naughty: Decisions decisions....... I didnt even ask how much they wanted for the sig since I knew it had to be overpriced because the glock was.

I would never buy a 226 Blackwater, I don't know what genius thought it would be a good idea to have RED front night sights. And the reason it's so expensive compared to other 226's is because it comes with 5 hicap mags.

If you want a 226, just buy one of the ones for $399 from CDNN.
