I'm going to try and continue to work out doing these exercizes for upper body. Let me know if they would be ok or if there are others I can add.

    lat pulldown
    pullups
    seated cable row
    Pec Deck
    Curls (BB/DB)
    Tricep extensions
    skull crushers

I think those should eliminate the use of shoulders.

everyone seems to have a shoulder injury, and still wants to lift.
just rest for a week or two and get back to 100%

when i first switched up my routine this year my shoulders were killing me from heavy DLs that i never attempted before.

i just stuck to 3x a week and rested on the weekends, it eventually went away.

i feel like in this situation both all-out rest and all-out lifting are both detrimental to recovery. well maybe rest isnt detrimental, but no pain no gain right?

Except most of the time, rest won't fix the dysfunction that's causing the problem and it will just come back when you start to lift again.

I didn't list any condition so I don't know how you "think that's what you have." There's lots of tendons/ligaments that pass through the shoulder joint. You can try the tests on this page to see which ones cause pain: http://www.aafp.org/afp/20000515/3079.html

what i meant by "thats what I have" is, it comes back after I give it time off.
