    Hi,

I don't know much about weight training or workouts or anything gym related. My body is tall and very slim and I'd like to gain some upperbody muscles. I've got a couple of dumbbells at home. I started doing pushups, situps and curls a week ago and have been seeing some results already. So to my question: What other simple workouts could I do for my upper body with dumbbells or without equipmend or anything I could find around the house?

    Thanks :wavey:

thanks for the quick replies guys

the websites got some good info.. im looking into it now.

i just wanna focus on my arms, my (nonexistent) pecks and six pack.. curls sound good dude. should i do lots of easy curls or few hard ones? meaning lots of curls with small weights or just a few with heavy weights..

also, to gain weight in general.. what kinda protein stuff should i buy? i dont really know much about it at all...

Work your legs and back if you want to "gain weight in general".

I don't want to be the guy that says this but you if you are serious, read the stickies at the top of the forum before making a thread every time you have a question. please save yourself the trouble. after reading those, feel free to post intelligent questions.

    qft.

in general, as a starting tip, hit your core and anything close to you spine/back/core area and move outward from there.

this means: back, glutes and chest BEFORE you even think about curling "a lot"
