Simple Whey Question

    Im a noob so take that in mind.

    I just started on Whey Protein. Im mixing 1 1/2 scoops with 1 1/2 cups of Skim Milk. A guy asked me why in the hell am I mixing with milk, he said water only. I looked at him like WTF? More protein plus it taste better, and the vitamins in milk. Am I missing something here? Is it a bad idea for some reason? Thanks in advance guys!

    I wouldn't drink milk in the gym, but outside that I see no reason to not mix with milk.

    well i dont drink at the gym, this is morning shake, and post workout when i get outa the shower :eek3: So nothing wrong? Cool

    milk contains more fats and casein protein (slower absorbing than whey--which is why youre taking whey in the first place)... so for pre/post workout u might want to drink with water strictly for fast absorption.

    on the contrary it is favorable to slow digestion and drink w/ milk before bed so your body is not starving while its recovering all night.
