how the fuck do i wear brown shoes? They are formal enough for job interview wear but I mean in general. I mainly just wear dark denim, and my winter wear aside from sweaters I only have a black leather jacket and a black winter coat

    those are kinda hideous :hs:
i wouldn't dare wear those to a job interview, let alone w/ any of my denim.

why are you trying to specifically incorporate those shoes into an outfit in the first place?

What kind of job interview are you going to? Most business attire I'd reccomend black shoes, w/ black slacks or a suit. Project Alpha and Ihaveanevilplan can help u out there better than i can, since they wear suits practically every day

cause i already bought em and they were 100 dollars.

I'm not trying to wear them for a job interview, I'm trying to incoporate them into a more semi-casual outfit. maybe with jeans and a button down

Also not a fan of the shoes, but...

If you don't care about the whole "can't mix brown and black" mentality, then just wear them if you feel like it. However many people still believe (including myself) that mixing brown and black is a no go.

Lots of current style trends seem to think it's okay, but the general rule is that it should be large pieces when you mix, not accessories like shoes/belt/etc. I'd say you need to get a jacket that is not black, like an olive green or a brown (doesn't have to be the same brown as the shoes).

yeah I see no point in wearing a black belt with them of course, but I'm not sure how I feel about wearing some casual baggy black jeans with them. I do have a 6+ years old brown leather jacket which looks great but the back is kind of fucked up (I got egged, and basically just partially rinsed the shit off with water.)
