Is there a good, simple CMS out there? Preferably something that's PHP powered and doesn't require a database. One with a WYSIWYG editor would be perfect. I'm looking at CMSimple, but it's being a piece of shit.

I like WordPress these days. It's supposed to be Blog software, but it works great as a basic CMS. It does need a database, but you may be able to use SQLite :dunno:

My company uses a product called "Help and Manual". It's made by some German company called EC Software and it kicks ass. It stores everything in XML format, which may not be what you're looking for, but at least it's standardized.

It's designed for writing help files and user manuals, but in real life it's good for writing any kind of sectionalized document. You can download a free trial from their website; do a Google search for it.
