I just got a 7300 gt video card.
Most of my games work fine, but when im trying to move around the game menus the mouse is FUBAR'd. The Cursor is real inconsistent. and i typically have to guess where its pointing or what im clicking on. Playing half life, the mouse is fine, i look at around and he moves fine with the mouse, but trying to select options or menus i cant see the mouse.

Does the same thing on any other games. Any ideas, ive tried searching for any troubleshooting stuff, but cant find anything.

    thanks

This sounds coincidental to me. Do you have another mouse that you can try?

Also, what kind of mouse is it? If it's a usb mouse, try it in another port.

Yea i guess i do, The mouse is logitech laser mouse that comes with the dinovo desktop setup. Its a wireless USB deal.

Ill try another mouse or port, but the mouse seems to work fine itself.
It seemed like a graphics problem, it only does it when big games are running.

Try going into mouse properties in control panel, and
putting a check mark in the "enhance pointer precision" box.

Also, you might want to try adjusting the pointer speed.

Oh ok, I didn't catch that. But the wireless part makes me think weak battery.
When the battery is dying, they do tend to get flaky like that.

Nope. its rechargeable mouse. It stays pretty charged.
I promise you it has nothing to do with the mouse itself.

Its something to do with the graphics, i was thinking something about acceleration but vista wont let me acces those settings.

Hmmm... I wonder if Logitech has a Vista specific driver for that mouse?
