You will be able to walk around the sub in 1st person.

Love this series. Infinite gameplay, very in-depth. I do hope they go the modern route some day, though. WWII U-boats are cool and all, but I want to be inside an Ohio-class ICBN :hsd:

unfortunately there probably wont be a modern one because of the technology that goes into it.

the thought of some radical group being able to steal one and then use it properly, as far fetched as it may be, is what these fuckers think about when not allowing people to create awesome stuff like that.

i do agree that it would be sweet. in on 5

True. It's probably the same reason why we're not seeing a flight sim for the F-22 with the level of detail and realism as Falcon 4.0 for the F-16. Really a shame, though.

there was Dangerous Waters a few years ago, it was mostly naval combat, but you did get to operate subs, choppers, planes, and ships.

id like to see a larger company create a new modern submarine/navy warfare game, Dangerous Waters didnt get the rep it deserved :(

5 degree right rudder. Game takes a shit ton of effort, but that feeling of sinking your first ship is indescribable

Dangerous waters is where the genre needs to go.

Not so much as in the amount of ships and shit, but i loved the fact you could launch tomahawks from a hover, etc.

Having a game where you could control even 1990 era + subs would be rad. As long as they let you park off a coast and launch tomahawks, and icbn's.

Still will check it out though. Silent hunter is great fun once you start splitting ships in half.
