A cheaper, less-exclusive follow-up using the Viper platform and engine would be cool.

I also think Chrysler should get the Alfa Brera in some form, even if it's reskinned and sold as a Chrysler. Perfect replacement for the Crossfire. :bigthumb:

But the Crossfire was terrible...why would you want a new version :o

Edit - Wow the Brera looks like an updated version of what James drove in the Alfa Challenge.

Edit 2 - I'm awesome. The Brera is in fact the successor to the Alfa Romeo GTV.

Alfa Romeos aren't such great cars that i want reskinned ones. The whole point is that they are HOT.

The Crossfire was terrible because it was based on the old SLK. :o

Base it on the Brera, and you've got a nice little sports coupe. Even the fwd 4cyl version got decent reviews, and the V6 awd model was even better. The Prodrive-modified 'S' variant was brilliant.

Then it wouldn't really be a Viper, would it? Vipers are pretty much the American incarnation of TVR, now with the impending financial doom to match.

Better than Chrysler engineering and Dodge styling. :o

The Italians will at least engineer cool stuff. It breaks all the time, but it's cool. Then they make it look pretty too.

Well it doesn't look like they'll be selling Alfas outright anytime soon. I'll take a slightly modified Alfa over no Alfa at all.

Yeah, Nikolai Smolenski. They still failed. :o

Allegedly, operations were moved to Europe, and they're trying to gear up for a comeback. That news came over a year ago, though. We'll see.

No, that's an old dynamic failure of an MB that was rehashed poorly and passed off as a new Chrysler.

New bad look, same bad taste.
