Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM is this lens any good, is it soft and how fast is the focus on it, is there any funky shit going on at 10mm. i would use it on a crop censor so that might not be too much of a issue. hpw does it compare sharpness wiset o the Tokina 11-16 2.8

The 11-16 destroys it in sharpness.

this... but I own the sigma 10-20 and love it. It is a sharp lens, especially stopped down.

isnt the Sigma 12-24 mm F/4.5-5.6 better

    i wanted a superwide zoom
its either that sigma or the rare MAF 17-35/3.5 G
but then i could also just buy the 15/4.5 ASPH Super Wide Heliar for $400 or so NEW

I liked mine until I sold it and replaced it w/ the Nikon 14-24. I never had any sharpness issues w/ it.

    I really like mine.

    I'd like a faster one, but can't find a 10mm
