Anyone use this and have feedback? I'm really thinking of getting one.

I've used one lots my buddy used to have. It's a pretty amazing lens I think. I would buy one in a heart beat.

I had the canon version and it was excellent

alittle slower than the canon but optically very nice

I have seen it used on the 5D and 1D as well and it still does an excellent job

I sold mine because I wasn't using it at the time and then my buddy picked up an 11-16 f/2.8 which is even better. If you can swing the tokina 11-16 go for it. Faster, sharper and not that much more expensive than the sigma. I know from local prices here in canada, sigma is about 500 and tokina is 650. The extra for the tokina is worth it.

The sigma 10-20 is a good lens and ima let you keep thinking about getting it. But the Nikon 12-24 f/2.8 is the greatest ultra wide angle zoom lens of all time.

Cool, as soon as I get a little extra cash I'm going to get it. The Nikon version is what, $1500? lol

I had one and loved it, took it to South America as my only lens and it was great.

But I sold it when I got the Tokina 116 f/2.8 which is a LOT sharper

  12. i had a sigma 10-20 for a while, nice lens... mine was pretty sharp and somewhat quiet to focus.

the thing is though, being only 10-20, instead of 22 like the canon ef-s mount -- it had it's draw backs... if you plan on doing lots of real estate photos, or landscape then it's good for that -- otherwise it doesn't really have that much purpose. i'd still recommend it because it's cheaper

I've got it on my D90 and really like it. I'd probably buy the Tokina 11-16 however if I was buying new, but I picked this one up with a 50 1.8 and battery grip, and 2 extra batteries for $400.

I love mine, but it distorts quite a lot people under 12mm. easy to fix for architecture but I avoid shooting when someone is there

My main and probably only use would be for landscapes. I have my other lenses for other stuff I'm just lacking a nice wide. Although, my kit lens at 18mm doesn't do too bad of a job..
