I saw some pictures taken by a Sigma 10-20 which look awesome. I saw that it was a Nikon lens, but was wondering what would be the closest equivalent to it for Canon? Would a 10-22 yield similar photos to a 10-20?

could you post some decent pictures with an 11-16?

the picture with the 10-20 that I liked was this:

What you probably like about that photo is the post-processing.

That Sigma 10-20 is available for Canon, if you like it, buy it. But the Tokina is better built and much sharper. Compared to the Canon 10-22 it is less expensive and sharper.

Hmm, just checked bh and saw it for Canon. I thought I only saw it for Nikon somewhere.

It's not the PP i like about the picture, it's more of the shape. I tried looking at some of the 11-16 pictures and it doesn't have the same kind of shape. It looks more like a prime lens than a wide angle lens. It might just be me, though. Although you are right, it is sharper. 2.8 vs. 4-5.6

what are you talking about, looks like a prime lens? prime lenses look different (other than bokeh)?
