Despite the fact that I'm a fuction over form kinda guy... I find myself really wanting an SBR AR... something around 10" for manueverability indoors... A FAL is just to big, even in SBR form.... There's always a P90... that would be fucking awesome with the proper barrel length, but way to expensive, and too expensive to shoot...

*sniffle* why couldn't fucking stoner utilize a god damned gas piston design!?!?

Are you a SWAT member? Any other reason you plan to be manuevering around inside a house? Or is it really for the cool factor?

As someone who lives in a home I can certainly understand why someone would want a rifle that maneuvers inside a home even if they're not swat...

Yup, ever since I moved out from under that bridge my 16" rifles just are too damn big.... Why are you needing to manuever around? Children's bedroom's to secure? otherwise I leave the room/house clearing to those that are paid to do it, and have backup.

Now if you'd just say I want one cause I think they're cool and neat looking, then I'm all for it.

I don't find anything wrong with regularly 'slicing the pie' at home.

Better to be safe than sorry.

It's not for the cool factor, it's for my personal protection, and training purposes. I am not SWAT, nor do I want to be. I enjoy firearms training, and like the fact the skills I gain there could better prepare me if anything crazy should ever go down.... Home invasions are on the rise, as is crime in general in Houston since the whole Katrina incident, better safe than sorry...

An SBR is just a better tool.
