Does anyone know how open they are to the public? Or where they're located? :big grin:

I'm going to be in Germany for 3 months for a study abroad term and thought it would be pretty interesting/cool to look around the shop and maybe take a look at the process.

    Anyone?

First thing I'd do is call them when you get over there. They should give you a quick tour if they are like the German company I work for.

No clue if they give tours but if so be sure to ask about free samples.

Thanks for the info. :big grin:

HK is just around the corner from where I'm going to be going to school it seems, but SIG is way the hell up there.

I wonder if I can get some cool souvenirs from the factories.:big grin:

HK doesn't give tours or allow civilians in, their contracts with certain agencies and governments forbid it.

Not sure where it is... :dunno:

I'm going to be in a school in Esslingen, which is just outside of Stuttgart.

Single stack Sig... it's out of production but still an extremely popular gun for CCW. It's probably the 2nd most sought after discontinued Sig, behind the 228.
