I just installed xp pro and installed the nforce drivers that came with the computer (Shuttle SN85G4 V2), but it has no connectivity. All that shows up in network adapters in device manager is the 1394 adapter. What do I have to do to make windows realize there is a network card (onboard) that needs a driver?

is it enabled in the bios? Does anything show up as an unknown device in device manager?

I'll have to check in the bios, I hadn't thought of that. But no, the only thing that shows up as unknown is the raid controller which I didn't install on purpose.

if the only unknown device is the raid controller and the only network adapter is the firewire one, then it's either turned off or busted.
