I'm trying to work some seafood into my diet since I usually just eat chicken, turkey and beef.

I don't eat a lot of seafood, so I was looking to see if anyone one here has some recommendations of any marinades or seasonings for shrimp?

I was wanting to try making buffalo shrimp with some wing sauce, but not sure what that would taste like. I've seen it on menus, but I think those are breaded, and mine wouldn't be.

a good basic marinade is olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and a bit of basil.

I have marinated chicken in wing sauce and then put it under the broiler. I assume shrimp would also work well this way.

    Thanks. :wavey:

I picked up some shrimp and some Frank's Wing Sauce and going to try that first. Then I'll try the ones posted here to mix it up a bit.

I looked at the nutritional info on the shrimp, and they're low calorie, low fat and high protein. But, they seem to have a lot of cholesterol in them. Is it the bad kind, or something to be concerned about?

I like marinading shrimp in fat free italian dressing and throwing them on the grill. Delicious.

That sounds so nasty, but so intriguing at the same time.

Just marinate them over night and that's it; you don't add anything else? What does it taste like?

Olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, salt. Marinade for 1-2 hours, then grill or put on the stove :yum:
