Alright, so I gave Scott a teaser last night (just the tip, ) and I'm now here to post the pics. So here we go. I asked a while back about what I should use on a Copperhead colored show truck to get the most pop and best look. I finally decided on using Clearkote products. Then went completly off the wall and tried something kinda wild. I compounded the truck with Meg's #83 DACP. Then moved to RMG, VM and was going to top all with Carnauba Moose. This was taking too long, so I changed up to Pink Moose, Scott's combo of RMG and VM at 50/50. I still wasn't getting the results I wanted, so I decided I needed just a little bite. In comes the Optimum Polish! Using the 3 pea sized globs, 2 of them were PM and the last one was OP. I can't even begin to explain what kind of results this yielded! The look was very wet, and very warm. I was worried that the OP would diminish the effects of the PM, but was just amazed at what resulted. The LSP was Carnauba Moose. Ok, enough of allthatshit.jpg, on to the pics!

I hope the mercury lights don't kill the look too much. :hs:

this pic, if you look at the license plate box, it is totally unfinished. compare with the look of the tailgate which is done.

yeah, i hope to. we finished at 2:30 on Sunday morning. and it was raining when he drove it home :madfawk: there's a possibility that it won't go to the show in cali :( because the transport may fall through, but we're hoping :x: He'll be bringing it back to the shop, so I'll retouch and take some more pics.

On another note, the truck was done (it was transformed completly from green to the orange in just under 2 months. This includes redoing every door panel and repainting the dash. This is what it did look like:

on top of all this, I picked up a rotary again and used it on some of his truck, and now he wants me to come in and finish out paintjobs for him after he wetsands! I'm starting to think 2008 is going to be a bright year for me. :x:

Very nice! Looks like you all had to tag team it. I remember deadlines like that when I was in the car audio business. Sucked! And we didn't have Red Bulls back then! That sub was a monster too. Probably weighed in at about 50lbs.+?

Nice work on that custom paint too. You made that flake pop!

The interior was completely reassembled that night. I didn't start til 5pm, and all I did was detail it!

Nice work on the paint, but being a Nissan Frontier owner myself, I would love nothing more than to bitch slap the guy who wanted a TRUCK to look like that. This isn't hard people, lower cars, LIFT trucks!!!

But again, nice work on the paint. Looks super slick!

so much mini truck hate. I wouldn't do it just because I wouldn't ever use a truck, but I can appreciate them

    The paint looks fucking
