Does anybody else have this problem? Is it just the angle that my shoulders are in? I've tried narrow and wide grip, they both seem to give me shoulder pain.
What am I doing wrong and what can I do to help this?

lol ya that's fine if it's normal, I can get over that. I just didn't know if I was the only one who got that pain.

I used to have your same problem, just one arm and it was a nerve or something getting pinched in my shoulder no matter how I held it just bringing it back hurt. try stretching first.

I just ignored it and it eventually went away :dunno:

If you've tried adjusting your placement that's probably what you'll have to do.

bar placement, i was in the same situation as you where my left shoulder would randomly feel like its about to pop out on my last reps of every heavy set.

since then, bar placement sits on my lower-middle traps. http://www.exrx.net/Muscles/TrapeziusMiddle.html
