So I've had a nagging pain in my right shoulder for a few days now. It only hurts when i lift my arm all the way up. It isn't terrible pain, I've been able to workout for a day or two with the pain. I'm set to see the doc on monday.

Taking a look at the picture below the pain is either the bursa (possible inflamation?) or the rotator cuff. It's hard to tell because when I lift my arm behind my head the pain feels more near the rotator, but when I lift it up normally it feels more near the bursa...

    i've been icing / heating / resting

Anyone have any ideas what it might be?

I had that. Checkout my page 1 of my log for some shoulder rehab/warm ups stuff. I believe that's what fixed it for me.

That's exactly the issue I have right now.
Did she tell you what to do to alleviate the pain? Just ice and rest?

She said do lighter weights with higher reps, stay away from over head pressing. Also for bench when using dumbbells have your palms facing in towards your body.

Evolude posted some good stuff in his training log..check these 3 shoulder savers out in the first quote:

I also checked out a lot of videos on youtube (search active release, rolfing, graston)
