Anyone have one or know anyone with a good one?

I'm in the market and I can't find one that I like.

Cheap nylon, doesn't matter.... has to hold vertical and have a thumb break..... that's it.

    Help? Maybe?

look up UTG shoulder holster if you want cheap and easy. They aren't very comfy though.

Or get a Galco Miami set up. They run around 200 bux, the UTG is only 20 bux.

    Thanx AB13.

Holsters that aren't $800 are hard to find for this gun.

As a DE owner myself.... why do you want to carry it? I think of mine as a novelty gun, totally impractical but fun as hell to shoot.

All of my pistols have a holster. I only shoot it at the range as a novelty like you said. I like watching the people next to me jump at the range.

I really just want one to want one. I shoot in tactical matches and such, maybe I'll CCW it once just to say I did.

It just needs a holster and a hip holster will just drag my pants down to a leave that would be considered illegal.

Fair enough, if you want one you should get one. I love shooting the DE at the range too, is yours a 50? I bought a 44 since ammo was readily available in 44 and cheaper.

Check around ebay for some of the cheaper stuff that is advertised for airsoft. They usually have full size shoulder holsters for like 20 bucks. Not sure if the Deagle would fit though :noes:

Mine is a .44mag also. Cheaper ammo (I reload), indoor ranges allow that caliber, the flash and shockwave from the reloads are EPIC and 8+1 capacity.

    :hsd:

I love it. Picked it up pretty cheap and I've done some work on it myself.

It's an updated Mark VII in BN. I just polished the bolt today. Fun toy.

My slide stopped locking back also. I noticed that just from wear the slide and the lever kinda wore down in a rounded shape and it didn't have enough to grab and hold.

I took mine apart, filed the slide straight again (made the notch 90*) and I used a grinding wheel and made the lever flat again.

Re-assembled the gun and it worked TOO well. It would lock back after every round. I found that the little spring that holds the lever down was bent a little from reassembly (my fault, I bent it) so I took it back out, fixed it and now the gun works perfect and the slide locks back when it should.

Releasing the slide with the level is a little harder now because the metal is scuffed from the file and it's two abrasive feeling metals against eachother... but it wore in some. I usually release the slide by pulling the slide back anyways.

The samething is wrong with mine but its the slide only not the lever. I was going to file my side to 90 as well just haven't done it yet. I use an empty mag to lock it back. I think the problem came from my friend when he was doing a trigger job on it he must have had it open and was doing something and rounded the slide top cuz I gave it to him and it was perfect and got it back all f'd up. I also need to replace what I call the firing pin spring.... I think its wornout so when I shoot sometimes the pin goes behind that plate and the plate will side out causing the spring and pin to come out. But that happens once in 100 rds or so.

That started happening to mine also. I shimmed the fire pin block in with some electrical tape. Fixed that issue right quick.

I'm getting real close to buying a new spring set for mine. I have a bulging coil on one of the slide springs and my firing pin spring is obviously worn because of the problem you stated.
