If it's really bad, it Could be tendonitis/bursitis

Rolfing will fix that (google it):)

thanks, i've been meaning to check that out. do you have any idea if these stretches/exercises can "cure" it or if they will just relieve some of the pain?

is it even possible to cure this?

thanks, but i meant to ask what the name is for the shoulder popping/clicking..

or if there could be several different things causing this, what are they?

There isn't a name for it. A very common cause is subscapularis dysfunction. Google "subscapularis lift off test" and see if you pass it or not.

    Thank you.

Will any of these exercises help/hurt me?

    Internal Rotations w/ cables
    External Rotations w/ DB's
    Cuban Press w/ barbell
    Scapular Retractions w/ DB's

I was thinking of doing these exercises after I warm up, but before I proceed to my normal training on upper body days..

    Lift Off Test

Have the patient place one arm behind their lower back and try to push away from the body. Inability to perform the "lift off" represents subscapularis weakness from a tear or other injury.

The point is that the exercises/stretches in the dvd will improve posture and mobility in ways that prevent you from continuing the movement that creates the problem... at least that's what I've taken from it.

Great vid. My shoulders are getting much better now.

One thing I am dissapointed that isn't in the DVD: pec stretches. I notice that the more I stretch my pecs, the better my posture is for a few hours.... I guess they're so tight that my shoulders roll forward largely because of that (in addition to poor thoracic shape and really loose back muscles)

Ceaze, got any links to some good stretches for the pecs? Doorway stretches feel like they can only go so far... something new would be awesome :x:

How much did it cost? When I go to purchase it, 3 different things ring up... For the DVD & manual, how much is it? Is that the $79.99 one?

yeah they make it tricky and there will be different options selected for you, even if you don't want them...

the dvd itself is 49.99 or so... definitely worth it. I don't know about the manual cause i haven't read it.
