I am thinking about upgrading my setup again. :naughty:

The question is, would an upgrade from dual 19"WS to dual 22"WS be all that noticeable? I dont have a fortune to spend, so this seems like the most viable solution.

can anyone that has seen both chime in?

The cost analysis is really up to you and how you use your computer. If you don't have a fortune to spend I personally think it's a waste of money.

You'd gain 150 pixels in height and 220 pixels in width per monitor. Is it really worth the money to you?

Instead of getting 2 22" monitors for like $500, you can always get a 24" and use one of your old 19" on the side for like $400.

What is the cheapest decent 24" LCD right now? Do you think a 6800XT 512MB could handle the 24" & 19" ? :x:

My budget is around $300 + the value of my 19"s

I have a 22" WS Samsung 226bw as my main monitor & a 19" WS Samsung 906bw as the secondary for IMs & whatever.

I was thinking of getting another 226bw, but for my benefit:cost ratio, wasn't really worth it?

Do you really need 2 - 22s? If no, then sell one 19" and get a 22" to replace it.

I do web design/programming for a living, and thus have a ton of programs running at once and need an excessive amount of monitor space

I'd save the money up and wait till about the spring or summer and then go a bit bigger, possibly dual 24"s! :) I think you'd appreciate it much more and it would last you longer.

Dual 19's will hold you over. Just MO.

Does anyone run THREE LCD Panels? I am debating on getting like a single 22 or 24" for the center LCD and two 19" LCD's for on each side of the 22/24... What video cards would you suggest?

If it is for non-3D work then it won't matter as long as you have a motherboard that supports two graphics cards.
