depends what you arent getting out of the 5d.
good point. I don't need the speed nor do I need the weather seal...
speed of what?
sorry I meant fps
3.9 fps is speed?
I think he's referring to the speed of the 1Dn which is 8 fps. To the OP, I'd be tempted to trade you my 1D2n for your 5D plus some cash my way.
also the 5D which is being discusses here is 3fps.
I'd do it. The 1DII is my main body and is great for everything. Although, I don't find it heavy since I'm not a weakling
get both, best of both worlds
there really needs to be a 1d4 with video
you don't want the 1s2n anymore?
i would not mind the 1dmk2n
want a non N
i dont even know what the difference is honestly
You're confusing the two. I have a 1Ds mk II and a 1D mk IIn. I'm thinking of trading the 1Dn. I wouldn't mind having another 5D.
The 1D mk II has a smaller LCD than the n version. The n version also shoots 8 fps. It's a great sports shooter camera.
N has .5" larger LCD
changes to AA filter for shaper in camera images
and often banding at iso 3200
so the often 700 difference is
Buffer increase too.
And the ability to select for what goes on CF and what goes on SD card.
damn, forgot that. the only reason I wanted the N
Does the 1D mk II also shoot at 8 fps? I was under the impression that it was a bit slower.
8.5, both are the same
I contemplated it, but I just picked up a 1DII body for $1350 canadian with 2 brand new NP-E3s so I couldn't pass it up
there were no internals update besides teh AA filter, which only helps jpeg shooters, along with the picture styles and buffer increase
No 1dsMKII, no care
