Trade creature comforts such as heated seats, navigation, and other small amenities for the fun of the STi? :dunno:

My car is already 6 speed... but its not meant to be fast.

Why is the TSX so underpowered? They coulda gave it at least 250 ponies.

i traded in my mercedes for my STi. I miss the creature comforts yes, but i do love the exhilierating driving experience in my STi

    :hsd:

Seriouslyl, STi's sit comfortabley, but they are loud, especially on the freeway, the radio sucks, etc.

Is gas mileage important? I'm lucky to see 19/24 in my '06 STI. AWD more than makes up for that drawback (oh, did I mention the power yet?) even on flat ass boring roads in SE FL.

Something else to consider - do you commute long distances w/any regularity? Some folks don't enjoy the STI's ride for more than a couple hours at a time, though I've not had anyone complain on a couple 4+ hour road trips.

2 very different vehicles, both at the top of their segments IMO. You'll probably dislike the stock shifter after having driven your TSX. And you know about the differences in interior refinement... Though again, I enjoy the STI's function over form approach (goes for the exterior as well), and the folks I've driven around have all commented on how it's well executed but very non-luxo.

One last consideration - ask yourself if you can put up with the wang - it's a big wang. Some will not like the wang. Will derisive comments about your big wang bother you? I'm old (36) so kids leave me alone and I don't give a rat's ass anyways, but the wang can be a problem for some.

STI limited may be an option - tiny wang. Or as someone else posted, Leg GT. Sleeper! and luxo too.

i personally think the stereo is decent/good... i would recommend getting 06 or 05.. 07 have newer gear ratio and ecu, i hear it's not that good unless you reflash with cobb stg1
