GUN should i sell my gsg5 and build a 22LR ar?

    an ar dedicated to being a 22lr, so probably a full 22lr upper that i'll modify

    i hate the hand guards on the CMMG full upper though, i want rails

    I'd prefer a GSG5 to my .22 AR kit. GSG feels alot lighter while the AR feels clunky just to shoot some .22's.

    if it were me i'd get a dedicated upper. then you dont have to worry about twist rate or carbon in the gas tube (yes i know you can shoot .223/5.56 after and blow it out)

    though there's no where to put a bipod or iron sights or a front sling on it :(

    if i was gonna do an AR15 with a dedicated 22 upper i'd probably just put a sling and an airsoft T1 clone on it.

  16. If it's GSG vs. dedicated .22 AR I'd vote for the AR.

    If it's a different .22 you want in general, I'd vote for a 10/22.

    Is it the colt ones? Are they not the Umarex ones? Or is M&P different?
