GUN Should I go with an ARMS BUIS or is Troy worth the extra $40?

What's your opinion? The ARMS one is spring loaded. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing :dunno:

TROY looks better but it's $40 more...

My ARMs #40 works great. Out of the box my rifle put the first 5 rounds into
the bullseye at 50 yards without touching it, can't complain. Haven't shot with
it much but the bullets keep going where they're supposed to when I do use it.

Quite solid. Move the lever, it pops up, go to work with it. Don't need it any
more, move the lever out of the way, push it down, let the lever snap back
to hold it down. It's well built, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

That's my old Bushnell 3-9x40 "Banner" scope. It wasn't bad, but my rifle
fell over on carpet and broke the magnification ring (locked at 3x). So it
    got shredded.

The mount is a Rock River 1" mount. It now has a somewhat decent Nikon
    scope in it.

And btw....for the others, I never said the Troy was bad, just that I was happy
    with the ARMS. :)

AR owners get sort of wound up easily about brand loyalty :)

I dropped my MAD for a Troy. I find the sight picture better with the troy, the MAD blocked a lot of my sight picture outside the aperture. I also prefer the way the troy locks solidly into place when you put it up.

If you want inexpensive, I have a Midwest BUIS for $75 :o

They should ship ARMS #40 with boxes of Tide to everyone's houses.
