10.5'' barrel + tax stamp is $100 more than the barrel I was looking to get.

Downside is I'd have to notify the :greddy: ATF anytime I go to shoot up in MD with it :greddy:

do you need to send the ATF one everytime you leave the state, or can you send them one saying "if i go to MD, this is where I will be" per year?

You can mail 30 out at a time with whatever travel dates you have and have them all sent back.

Ive even heard you can have one location setup for up to a year in length, but I dont know 100%

I've heard that if you go shoot to the same location, and cross the border quite often, you can get a letter stating that you can transfer across state to said location for a period up to 1 year.

I have an unfired, but installed, Noveske 14.5" midlength stainless barrel I'd like to get rid of. I was going to SBR it, but never got around to it. Can't afford the tax and engraving right now, but I need a functional rifle. You want? It has an F-marked FSB installed by Noveske, M4 cuts, all the normal stuff. As I said, it's installed right now,and has an AAC suppressor mount installed, so I'd have to remove the barrel and mount for sale. Don't have a gas tube for it.

As much as I'd like to have an SBR I don't think I ever will. I'm not interested enough in them to want to show up on the BATF radar more than I already am.

16" barrel is fine for me. I don't have a "need" for SBR. I'm not saying I won't do it in the future (for example the PS90 needs it). But for my AR I'm fine with 16". I'd do a supressor before a SBR.

I wanted two SBR's, one for me, one for the wife. She'll eventually get one, while I'll function fine without.
