i want to buy something and I want a new laptop :o

I have a 3yo MacBook now and want to ditch it.

I really only use it to surf the web, watch porn, and write iPhone App's

also, I am going to get them to fix a bunch of shit on my MacBook, I assume they will just give me a refubished one. What should I be able to drop it for? It was the $1200 model, 250gb hdd and 2gb ram :o

the price difference is not that much i would go with the pro then you never will second guess your decision... and it will last longer

I have a MacBook. The screen is a little small, but the resolution on the MBP isn't much better. Preferred laptop size & money are your big points to consider here.

if the price isn't a big deal then just get the MBP. sure you may not need it, but does everyone who gets a corvette or a big ass gun really need that? nope, but its cool to know you have the best :)

i am selling one of the guns i no longer have a use for and will pay for the laptop :o

i guess i might go with the MBP, I will want to run VMWare Fusion for Windows, so it will be my best bet.

I got the MBP over the macbook and havn't been happier. I work with a lot of photoshop and illustrator files that are huge so that was my deciding factor.

    Another question:

Get the baseline MBP and buy 2x2GB sticks of ram later, or just go with the $2500 MBP?
