This is the workout I've been doing, with a few adjustments since September. It's base is pur's routine, but as time passed I changed some things. I've been giving some serious thought to doing the WS4SB routine

Everything is 3x10, unless noted. I split this over 5 days, with each body part getting its own day.

    Chest
4x10 Flat Bench, alternate BB and DB depending on how I feel.
Incline. Usually DB unless I have a spotter
4x10 Cable Flies (coming from top)
    Cable Flies (from bottom)

    Tris
    V-Bar pulldown
    Reverse curls

Rope extension (over head, back facing machine)
    OR
Negative Hammer curls on decline bench

    Bis
    Hammer Curls
    DB curls
    preacher curls

    Back
    Deadlifts
    3x8 Weighted pullups
    Lat pulldown
    Cable rows
    BB rows

    Shoulders
    Pendlay Row
    Db and/or BB Press
    Front Raise
    Shrugs on smith machine

    Legs
    Squats
    Calf raise
    Leg curl
    Lunges
    Leg press

    Abs
    Misc weighted work.

Not on anything except protein and creatine.

And I lied, I've been doing this routine (more or less) since September. Before that I did Bill Star for three months and before that .. I lifted but it was pretty disorganized (I'd do three exercises per muscle group, but they changed all the time :mamoru:)

i dont think u should worry about a routine so much. you can get stronger and bigger on any routine imo as long as you are trying hard , and the routine has compound lifts w/a barbell...squat, deadlift, and some type of pressing. there's no point fretting over what routine is the best, just pick one and do it

I don't really know why you changed the routine and seperated triceps and biceps. It'd annoy me to go the gym, do 3 kinds of curls and go home. Anyways, I did WS4SBs for awhile and lvoed it. Different goals than Pur's ovbiously. What are you trying to do?

Sounds solid. just wasn't sure if i was over or underdoing any muslce group. I'm a bit frustrated right now because I haven't been making many gains (my diet kind of sucks). I'll post some progress pics when i get a tan :mamoru:.

And ericade, I do arms the same day.

change to four day routine, combine Tri's and bi's to one day, arms day. Throw some reverse wrist curls on arms day as well.

I'll fix my diet eventually. I have an excuse, although it is a bad one. I'm living at home until after I go on vacation this summer. Food here is free and dinner is almost always cooked for me. I have little will power.

Ideally, I'd be doing a four-day routine. When I started, that is how it was. I have a hard time adding the arm days to other days. By the time I'm done doing chest or back, I don't have the energy for arms. I feel like I am cheating one or the other if I double them up.

I eat pretty clean most of the time ... especially breakfast and lunch. But I cave easy to tasty late night snacks :noes: and have started to drink more often. Whataburger killed me this Friday night :hsd: bad excuses, i know.
