the p22 is a tiny, tiny gun. i personally don't like how it feels. i'd get the conversion as long as you know it works reliably

P22 sucks. As mentioned, it's very small and feels like a toy. In the past they have had reliability issues and are bitchy about ammo. Get a Ruger .22 variant instead, Mark II or MKIII 22/45.

the 22/45 grip is still quite a bit bigger than my kimber UC. I looked at the P22 and it fit my hand quite nice. A little smaller than the kimber, but not unreasobable

I want a P22 soooo bad but after alot of research it sounded like more trouble than it was worth. I'd love to have a .22 conversion for my XD

I've had my P22 for a few months. I've had no problems aside from the fact that it picky with ammo. Try a few kinds and find what works best, and you're good to go.

I think the newer p22's are alot better than the older ones. That said its just too small a gun for me, it seems like a great gun to have for the ladies though...

P22s around here are like 200 used in good condition. Isn't that about how much it is for a Glock conversion kit?

P22 is a good gun for just having fun at the range. In terms of self defense, hunting, or concealed carry, it sucks and you should never think of it as anything else other than a cheap gun to shoot targets with at the range.

If you don't take care of it, you'll have a FTE or FTF at least once every magazine.

I like my AA glock .22 conversion, but also really like my buckmark.
